Set in two acres of fenland countryside on a quiet drove just to the South of Ely, Cambs, Cloverleigh Kennels offers first class accommodation for your pet. Our modern purpose built facilities exceed Boarding regulations and with just 10 kennels we are able to spend quality time with your dog, playing, exercising and grooming them.
At Cloverleigh Kennels you can be assured that both your dog’s physical and emotional needs are catered for during their stay.
During his stay, your dog’s day will start with a brisk walk at 6am. After everyone has been walked, beds are made and breakfast is served. Your dog’s pop hatch is opened allowing him access to his outside covered run so he can chose to be indoors or outdoors to relax and digest his meal.
At 9:30am the second set of walks begins. Your dog is exercised on a flexi lead to allow him to sniff and enjoy his walk. He can then chill out in his kennel while we get on with cleaning and admitting any new dogs.
At 2:30pm we start our afternoon walk / play sessions.
The evening meal is served just after we closed at 4:30pm to allow your dog uninterrupted quiet time to relax and digest his meal.
The bedtime walks start at 7pm and then your dog is left with a bedtime treat.
During the winter months we close the pop hatches as soon as daylight starts to fade (to allow us to get the heating on and the kennels cosy for the night). During the summer months we start to close pop hatches after the bedtime walk.
For active dogs we often feed their meals from our range of activity toys.
Opening Hours/Viewing Hours for the delivery and collection of dogs During the winter months we encourage owners of first time boarders to bring them during daylight hours to allow them to settle in to their surroundings before nightfall. Please note that we are closed |
