Yvonne Mackender (APDT No. 00253) Dip CABT (COAPE)
Involved in dog training and behaviour since 1985, Yvonne is a highly respected specialist in canine psychology, with a practical approach to dog behaviour developed through living with rescue dogs. She is a member of The Centre of Applied Pet Ethology((COAPE) , Practitioner of the COAPE Association of Pet Behaviourists and Trainers , an Associate of Professor Peter Neville DHc BSc (Hons) and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT Membership number 253). Yvonne runs the behaviour clinic at Hot Dogs training school in Soham and also Special Needs classes which help owners to manage dogs which are aggressive towards people and/or other dogs. Yvonne especially enjoys working with nervous dogs - building their confidence with her calm manner and hands off approach. She has an excellent knowledge of dog related law and has worked as a Dog Warden in Cambridge and Corby, Northamptonshire.
